In 1977, NASA launched the Voyager II satellite into deep space — a golden record strapped to its side, broadcasting Johnny B. Goode into the cosmos. It was a shot in the dark. NASA built the signal, pointed it skyward, hoping to make contact, but never really expecting anyone to hear it.

But, someone did.  Light-years away, the signal found its way to a group of curious, rebellious youngsters. And everything changed. The sound of earthling’s music hit the distant youngsters right where it counts and it hit them hard— raw, electric, undeniable. They didn’t understand the words, but they felt the energy.

And now? They’re trying to make a sound of their own. Practicing. Pushing. Dreaming. Something’s coming.....
