In 1977, NASA launched the Voyager II satellite into deep space — a golden record strapped to its side, broadcasting Johnny B. Goode into the cosmos. It was a shot in the dark. NASA built the signal, pointed it skyward, hoping to make contact, but never really expecting anyone to hear it.

But, someone did.  Light-years away, the signal found its way to a group of curious, rebellious youngsters. And everything changed. The sound of earthling’s music hit the distant youngsters right where it counts and it hit them hard— raw, electric, undeniable. They didn’t understand the words, but they felt the energy.

And now? They’re trying to make a sound of their own. Practicing. Pushing. Dreaming. Something’s coming.....

Chapter 1 - Hug

Capitan’s phone buzzed. Sir Vaysa was calling.

Once just Vaysa, now crowned King of a lush island near French Polynesia, he lived a life most could only dream of — jet skiing, windsurfing, food tours, beachside meditation, martial arts at dawn, and the occasional poolside day drinking. He balanced it all with surprising grace, still finding time to govern. Like his late father, the beloved Sir Real, Vaysa ruled with warmth, generosity, and a grin that could disarm even his critics. He listened to the poor, charmed the rich, and respected his cabinet. Experience was lacking, but attitude and charisma filled the gap. He was impossible not to like. And today, he was calling Capitan to lift him out of the dirt.

Capitan, once a rising star, now sat in the wreckage of a career-crushing disaster. His music festival — months in the making — had imploded. A semi truck hauling toxic chemicals had overturned, blocking the only road to the venue. Cleanup dragged on for weeks, and the event was scrapped. Tickets refunded. Investor cash torched. Thousands of attendees left stranded at the gates.

Though it wasn’t really his fault, Capitan was blamed. The story went viral — a headline darling for bored newsrooms around the globe… and beyond. His name, once synonymous with buzz and brilliance, was now trending for all the wrong reasons.

Vaysa heard the news while sipping something tropical poolside. Without missing a beat, he FaceTimed his best friend.  He opened with a smile and a pep talk. “Bro, you’ve built from scratch before. You’ll do it again.”

Chapter 2 - Wild Child

Jaywalker was one of the lucky few on his planet to hear Johnny B. Goode. The second it hit, he was all in. The next day, he threw a band together.

He practiced nonstop. Grades tanked. Friends narrowed to fellow music junkies. He didn’t care. Forget calculus — he needed to play.

His parents were furious. Jaywalker was supposed to take over the family business — an intergalactic moving company started by his grandfather. Respectable, steady, blue-collar work. His dad ran it. Jaywalker was next in line.

But Jaywalker had other plans.  He and his band cut their teeth on birthday parties and school dances, then moved on to bars and bowling alleys. They were getting good. But Jaywalker wanted proof — not just hometown hype.

Once his planet locked on to Voyager II, they traced it back to Earth and tapped into the signal stream. Music. News. Sports. All of it.

One day, Jaywalker read about a failed Earth music festival — and the promoter taking the fall: Capitan. But Jaywalker could tell — this guy wasn’t a screw-up. Just unlucky.  Capitan had the chops. Jaywalker needed him.

So he sent a message — and a demo: Wild Child, their biggest hit. A rally cry. A defiant anthem to his parents' generation. A declaration that they weren’t stopping for anything.

Chapter 3 - I've Got an Idea

Capitan could barely sit still. The Wild Child demo was pure fire. Raw, loud, alien — and exactly what he needed. This was his shot to bounce back. A band from another planet? Playing live? On Earth? Minds would melt. Capitan’s reputation would be rebuilt. He’d be the guy behind the biggest musical event of all time.

The plan formed fast:  Land the band > Get them to the venue > Throw the show > Blow minds > Send them home > Reclaim his throne

But first, logistics. How do you land aliens undetected? He paced. He drank coffee. Scribbled. Paced more. For three sleepless days. Then — lightning. Vaysa.

Capitan’s long-lost best bud. Now king of a remote island in French Polynesia — a place with a Bermuda Triangle vibes where signals signals go in, but they don’t go out. It was perfect. No radar, no government interference. Landing challenge: solved.

Then came transport. The band, the gear, the crew — how to get them stateside? He remembered The Baby Grand — Real’s massive sailing vessel, now Vaysa’s. All wind-powered. No engines. No noise. No trace. Capitan grinned. Transportation challenge: handled.

Next: the show itself. He thought back to the raves of his youth — desert spots with no cell service, invite-only. His bread and butter. No flyers. No socials. Just whispers and directions passed hand-to-hand. He knew the perfect spot: remote and loud-ready. The band could play and leave without a trace.

But none of it mattered unless Vaysa said yes. Capitan picked up the phone, hit call, and detailed his plan to his long-lost friend.

Chapter 4 - Guts & Glory

Jaywalker and his crew had reached Earth’s orbit. After years of prep, they were finally here — ready to land, ready to play. But tension ran high. The journey had been long. Earth was habitable, sure, but contact with humans came with risk. Capture meant consequences. And Earth's polluted atmosphere could interfere with their systems, even prevent a return trip.

Communication with Capitan and Vaysa was cut before Fortune started their decent— any signals were too dangerous now. The plan was set. They had to trust it.

Step one: reach orbit undetected. Thanks to Dust Hurdle technology, this was easy — it’s how they got here in the first place. This tech wasn’t designed to fight nature — it merged with it. Gravity, electromagnetism, dark matter, coincidence… even forces humans hadn’t yet discovered. By flowing with the natural universe instead of resisting it, the Starbird moved like a current through space and time.

Step two: launch the decoy and send it crashing into the Scottish Sea — as far from the real site as possible.

Now, hovering above the landing zone, the and crew nodded in solidarity.

Jaywalker grabs the mic and turns on the PA.

They start their decent. Soon becoming a fireball as they hit the earth’s atmosphere.

They landed successfully at Vaysa island at dusk by following the coordinates Capitan provided earlier.

Capitan leads his band, Fortune, and their crew down to meet Capitan, Vaysa, and the rest of the humans.

Still unsure about humans, Jaywalker walks proudly and alert. Capitan and Vaysa wait at the base of the Starbird’s stairs down to the ground.

The 2 species meet for the first time, shake hands, and now in that instant it was going to be a crazy party from here on out.
